At Little Star, we love the outdoors and believe the world can be a living classroom and the community a second home. Our Supported Community Connections (SCC) program is built on the foundation of meaningful, one-on-one relationships. We don’t just “supervise”—we get in there and engage.
By pairing service members with dedicated care providers, we create opportunities for authentic experiences across Northern Colorado. Whether it’s a quiet morning at the library or an active afternoon at the gym, our goal is to foster independence and joy in the places our members love most.
Little Star offers service members support through several dedicated Supported Community Connections (SCC) Providers. Our Providers facilitate diverse activities and learning opportunities. Every outing is tailored to the needs, goals, and desires of our service members, creating opportunities for personalized growth and fulfillment. Our providers are trained and compassionate individuals who prioritize educating, mentoring, and diligently caring for all aspects of a service member’s needs. They strive to empower each person, recognizing their inherent worth and potential within the community.
Adventures: Tailored, individualized community outings designed around each person’s unique comfort levels, pace, and personal goals.
